Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: September 17, 2026 · ANIMAL CHILD CARE AND WELFARE TRUST

As a registered charitable public trust, contributions made to ANIMAL CHILD CARE AND WELFARE TRUST are immediately deployed toward on-ground welfare services, including emergency surgeries, medication, daily food preparation, and children's welfare supplies. Therefore, donations are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, we acknowledge that inadvertent banking and technical errors can occur.

3.1 Circumstances Under Which Refunds Are Considered

Technical Glitch / Duplicate Deduction: Where a donor's bank account or card is charged more than once for a single intended donation due to network lag or server timeout.
Erroneous Amount Entry: Where a donor inadvertently enters an incorrect amount (e.g., typing an extra zero) and reports the clerical error immediately.
Unauthorized Card Usage: Where a donation is proven to have been executed fraudulently using compromised instruments, subject to bank verification.

3.2 Refund Application Timeline & Process

Notice Period: Any refund request must be lodged in writing via email to animalchildcarewelfaretrust@gmail.com within 7 (seven) calendar days of the transaction timestamp.
Required Documentation: The request must contain: (a) Full name of the donor, (b) Registered email and contact number, (c) Date and exact time of transaction, (d) Payment Transaction ID / Razorpay Payment ID, and (e) Bank transaction screenshot/statement.
Processing & Settlement: Upon review and internal verification, approved refunds will be credited back strictly to the original source instrument (bank account, debit/credit card, UPI) within 5 to 7 business days. Payment gateway processing fees levied by third-party processors may be deducted where applicable.

3.3 Cancellation of Recurring Pledges

If a donor has set up recurring monthly donations or Standing Instructions (e-NACH/mandates), the subscription may be paused or canceled at any time by writing to our support team at least 5 business days prior to the next scheduled billing cycle.
